Bollywood meets Hollywood

Akshay Kumar & Kylie Minogue in “Blue”

Bollywood has always been inspired by Hollywood movies. That’s old news!  Kylie Minogue was seen “chiggy wiggying” with Akshay Kumar, and Snoop Dogg was belting out “Singh is King.” The recent favorite “Chamak Challo” was sung by none other than Akon.

“The Great Gatsby”

Just as Hollywood made it’s way to Bollywood, in recent years we have seen several Bollywood stars in Hollywood. Anil Kapoor in “Mission Impossible IV”, Irrfan Khan in “The Amazing Spiderman” and “The Namesake” and Aishwarya Rai in “The Mistress of Spices.”

We are of course excited to see the Big B in “The Great Gatsby” that releases in 2013. Here is the trailer and see if you can spot Bollywood’s biggest star in it!

  1. The mainstream Hollywood studios cannot specify specifically whatthe public want or will get as they did historically. As soon as you add to that distribution internet and, news, online sites, from chat to complete motion pictures. It’s a totally new world. Some of it great, some not.
